At the 5/19/26 board meeting, the last meeting before the election, Board Chair Rowe decided the freedom of speech no longer applies in our county. She asked that it be added to the agenda to consider censuring or removing me from office because she does not agree with things I have said online. It’s ok to disagree. It’s not ok, moral or legal to remove a duly elected person from office because you disagree with them. We fought a war over it. We put the right to free speech in the first amendment of the Bill of Rights of the Constitution. Chair Rowe swore an oath many times to uphold and defend that Constitution.
